"They stayed with Sarabjeet for years "

Mr. Sarabjeet has been undergoing imprisonment in Pakistani jails over(for) more than a decade. There were many Indians who lived with him in those jails and it might be possible that some are still living (with him). (Many Indians have lived with him in those jails and some are still with him.)

One such prisoner, Mr. Devindra who had (has) just returned from Pakistani jails after a long time of fifteen years was with Mr. Sarabjeet for more than eight years. When (he was) asked about the conditions over there, he said very pathetically(sorrowfully) that they (the Indian prisoners)were treated very badly. The behaviour of Pakistani officials was not good but they(the Indian prisoners) braved against all odds. Sometimes they went for hunger strikes for the improvment of the quality of food and other living conditions.

When Mr. Devindra was asked about Mr. Sarabjeet's physical and mental condition, he said that a person never remained same in that jail. Mr. Sarabjeet like other prisoners faced many tortures but when Mr. Devindra was about to leave, Mr. Sarabjeet begged him to deliver a message to his family in India. Mr. Sarabjeet asked his family to do something urgently about his release.

The story remains same for many Indian prisoners out there. Every time they asked(have been asking) their families to do something in(about) their cases.

Many human right (rights) organizations have been working in such cases for both India and Pakistan but the process seems to be very slow. According to an activist who has been working (in this field)(for) over a decade says that a speedy mechanism seems to(be) missing for releasing the innocent civilians against whom there is (are) no charge(charges). Though few attempts were made in 1948 and afterwards (after independence) but the process lied down (was paralysed) due to the animosity of both the nations.

"India for humanitarian view of Sarabjit case "
Few days back, the Pakistani supreme court has given(awarded) the death sentence to Mr. Sarabjit for his involvement in illegal activities. It is reported that he is an Indian. Across the border in India, his family believes on Mr. Sarabjit's innocence and has been pleading to the Indian government to take necessary actions to save his life. Immense pressure by (from) media and television channels pushed Indian government to talk with Pakistani officials.(Due to immense pressure from media and television channels, the indian government was pushed to talk with their counterparts.) As a result, the external affairs minister Mr.Natwar Singh conveyed to the pakistani high commissioner Mr. Khan that this case should be treated as a 'humanitarian issue' by the pakistani government.
The External Affairs ministry spokesman said after the meeting of Mr. Natwar Singh and Mr.Khan," Minister said that this case is an humanitarian case and indian sentiments are involved for sparing Mr.Sarabjit's life. Consular access being provided was taken up which hope that things would move in positive directions."
Soon after the meeting the high commissioner assured that he would convey this message to the higher officials in Islamabad.
In this case, government is hopeful that consular access would be granted and Pakistan would take lenient steps towards the victim.

"The Monk who sold his ferrari" is a famous book written by Mr.Robin Sharma. Mr.Sharma is a well known international motivation guru who tried to depict seven principles of living with the help of a fable.
A very famous lawyer Mr.Julian of age above fifty was at the height of his career. He had each and every thing which any successful person could have. He spent almost most of his life as a workaholic. His home was the court room. He used to spend most of his time with his clients. His work had become his passion and his health had been deteriorating day by day. One day he had a severe heart attack in the court room. He was brought to hospital where he could have been saved by the strenuous efforts of doctors.
That day his life had been changed completely. He sold all his possessions i.e. a luxurious house, a brand new ferrari , so on and so forth. He traveled a long distance in the search of knowledge. A knowledge that he had studied in various books. He landed in India, the country known for it's ancient culture and spiritual enlightenment. He had been searching knowledge in the valley of mountains. Then one day he found a man there who told him about the secret of Sivana and their mystical powers. He also said, "They are the best teachers from ancient times who can give you the knowledge of enlightenment but to find them is very tough. They do live in this valley but no body knows the exact place. Even I have been searching them for past many days but couldn't get success. I wish you good luck if you find them."
Mr.Julian was very determined so he moved in search of Sivana. After many days of struggle and sweating, he could find them. He pleaded them to teach him knowledge. Sivana were very kind people, they took him along themselves to the place where they lived. Mr.Julian spent months there to know "the knowledge of enlightenment".
He returned to his country after so many months. He met his friend Mr.John as he landed there. As soon as his friend saw him, he didn't believe on his eyes. The person standing infront of him was looking like a young person with lots of energy. His eyes were glittering like stars. His face was shining, wrinkle around his eyes and cheeks had gone away. The man was looking well below of his age.
Mr.John was very curious to know about the secret behind his friend's over all change. They had a long conversation in the night in which Mr.Julian exploded all his experiences and knowledge that he had learnt in Sivana. There were basically seven principles that teachers of Sivana told him in a fable.
The fable goes like this. "There is a beautiful garden of yellow roses. A tower watch is stood in middle of it. A sumo wrestler comes out of it. He is fully naked except a pink wirk around his waist. He walks around the garden. A golden time watch lies down the ground. As Sumo wrestler puts his leg on it, he slips and fells down. After some time he regains his strength and wakes up. The fragrance of rosebush feels him comfortable. He amazes on seeing a long path covered by diamonds. This path leads him down the eternal joy and bliss."
Every thing in this fable has its own significant. The beautiful garden symbolizes "the master of mind". The Towering Lighthouse tells to "fellow your purpose".Sumo wrestler represents to fight against fear. Pink wire is to live with discipline. Golden stop watch tells to respect time. The fragment roses symbolize to serve others selflessly which the last one The path of diamonds tells to embrace the present.
I liked this book as it narrates the true situation of real life where we all are running for materialistic things. Somehow we are losing our mental peace and happiness in achieving the things which give momentary pleasure.
I don't know how much I have been enlightened after reading this book but I am sure that things have been changed a lot since then.

The article is about Ms. Sheehan, who has lost her son Casey in an attack by Iraqi militants on USA troops. She has been protesting against the USA government on the Iraq issue. She recalls the incident when she met Mr.Bush after the sad demise of her son. She was disappointed when Mr.Bush entered the room and said, "who am I going to honour today?" She said that Mr.Bush didn't show any humanity. There was nothing in his eyes that showed care towards the citizens of USA.
She has joined military Families Speak Out(MFSO). This is an anti-war organization which works on the spreading of awareness of the Iraq devastation. They and many Americans believe that the operation in Iraq is of no use and US troops should leave immediately.
She has been protesting in front of Mr.Bush's ranch. Whenever she tries to meet Mr.Bush rather than talking to her, he sends his aids to assuage her. She recalls an incident when Mr.Bush was going out for fundraiser and she was holding a sign that read "Why do you have time for donors not for me?"
Some other people who also suffered, call her "The Rosa Parks of the new movement opposing the Iraq war". Rosa Parks was an African-American woman fought against USA style apartheid. She had immense courage and power and was widely recognized as a movement lever.
Amongst the political influence, media has been manipulating Ms.Sheehan's emotions and feelings but they are real. She is the Rosa Park of the Iraq anti-war movement. She will have to take care against government wiles to fight till the end.

The article was about the late Kadirgamar, foreign minister of Sri Lanka who was assassinated few days back by LTTE. He was a man who fought against terrorism and LTTE movements in Sri Lanka. He was shot down because he took actions against LTTE in the past. He talked to Western countries about LTTE terrorism. There was a proper base of LTTE in London in 1990's. Each and every correspondence took place from London. Kadirgamar talked to Europenal governments in this matter. Soon the results came out and they squeezed on the resoures of LTTE. "He was murdered because of his 'sins' against LTTE". It was for the same reason that assassination attempts were made against Prime Minister Kumartungika and other officials. The Late minister hurt the LTTE chief Prabhakar, as he was a Tamil. Kadirgamar's presence in government challenged Prabhakaran that he was a sole speaker of Tamil. A nationalist to the core, always worked for the country. He bridged the gape between Tamils and Singhala in Sri Lanka. He firmed straight in the bed days. He put the situation undercontrolled in front of the world all the time. Australia and West Indies teams didn't come to India in 1996 worldcup because of terrorism thefts. His comments were very bold on it. He defended his country in great adversaries. An Oxford educated lawyer and cricketer Kadirgamar almost single handedly took the bettle to the LTTE.
